Driving to the hanging

It is reported that the Governor is driving to Springfield today to offer the closing comments during the impeachment trial he has been boycotting. It seems to be a foregone conclusion that he'd have to hitchhike back to his hideout in Chicago tonight if he did his usual commute in the taxpayer owned plane used in all of his occasional visits "down there" to the hinterlands.
