Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn says Blagojevich should resign and should not be involved in the U.S. Senate seat selection in a news conference just before 1:00. Gov. Blagojevich is to appear in federal court at 1:30. Quinn also said that he has been prepared to step in as Governor since he ran for the Lt. Governor job 7 years ago.
